I've got more to post

Yes, I have still been scrapping, I have several more pages to post, I just keep forgetting to take the pictures! I'm hoping to get them all up tomorrow!
So, I am sticking to my goals for 2008. I want to scrap 300 pages for the year, I am up to 27! I am right on track! I want to finish 2007, I am working backwards, and am on October, I might just accomplish this one as well! I want to use 100 sheets of patterned paper before I buy anymore, I have used 11, this one is going slower than I would like, I'm trying hard to resist new paper, but so far, so good! I'm really not sure I will accomplish this one, but I'm going to keep trying. I have wanted to cut back my spending on patterned paper and other little supplies, so far I have bought some bazzill CS, but I am trying to switch over to only bazzill from SU!, so I definitely don't count that. I also just ordered an OTT lite from J's online, it was 50% with free shipping! I really hope I like the one I ordered, it's hard online sometimes, but I am so excited to have some great light! So, all in all, I would say no frivilous spending! I do also want to put in a very large order for adhesive for the ATG, I'm so worried I will run out, and I don't think I can scrap without that adhesive ever again! What did I ever do without it?
Okay, I am really going to try to get the pics posted tomorrow before the weekend!

Finally

Okay, I really have been scrapping a lot lately, and today, I finally got around to taking the pictures, and I think I have figured out how to get the pictures to look right now, so we will see!

First pages are from Christmas, I didn't take a lot of pictures of the boys opening gifts, but enough, I guess. I think this is the first time I have ever scrapped Christmas! It seems crazy, you would think if you got nothing else done, you would do Christmas, but, I have a lot of catching up to do as far as Christmas is concerned! So, this one is for the family book. Obviously I do a similar layout for 3 different books, if I had to come up with a new idea for each book, i would never get done!

Randy's Book:

Brandon's book:

Next, these were taken over Christmas break, the weekend before Christmas, this was the first time that Brandon had ever been pulled behind the 4-wheeler. We used to do it a lot with Randy (we used an onld car hood) but we haven't done it in years. They both had a great time! I got the "layout" idea for this from a recent issue of CK.

Randy's Book:

Brandon's Book:

School Christmas program. This was Brandon's first school program. Randy doesn't have one any more, so just 2 pictures! Very simple, I did use my new paper dolls cartridge, and I think there is a striking resemblence to my Brandon! I was so excited to see the "antlers"!

Brandon's book:

Sunday School Christmas Program. Again just 2 pics, as Randy is too old! These were super simple, and are really pretty plain, not my favorites by any stretch, but, they are done.
Family book:

And these next two pages I did a few months ago, class pictures:

Okay, so that is it for today! I am hoping to post as I get things finished, but more realistically, hopefully once a week. I just hope I can continue on my scrapfest! It feels great to get things done! My goal for 2008 is to do 300 pages and all of 2007! I have completed 18 pages, and the majority of December. I'm going to try to work backwards, but I think that won't last long because I usually scrap the pics that catch my eye that day.
I also have several hundred pages I need to get into books. I spent nearly all of my Christmas money on albums and page protectors and have yet to get any of that done, and I think I need to get some more books because I have changed my mind on how I'm going to do it! Again, I just hope I continue to get stuff done!

Not such a great weekend!

Alright, Saturday was fine, but Sunday stunk! Not only did the Packers lose to the Giants, but our Satellite went out only on the channel the game was on! We had friends over to watch the game, and, no game! It came on just in time to see the missed field goal at the end of regulation and then the horrible overtime loss.
I know, I know, this is a blog about scrapping, so I fully intend to be back tomorrow to post the pages I have finished since I last posted pages.

a blog about scrapping or football?

HHHMMMM, I had intended to post some more layouts that I have finished in the past week, but I still haven't taken pictures of them. So, instead, I'm just going to repeat this

GO PACK GO !!!!!!!!!!!!
So, they play the Giants in Green Bay on Sunday in the division championship game! They win this one and it's on to the Super Bowl! So here is hoping for lots of snow and cold temperatures in Green Bay. And maybe Eli will get some bad room service, nothing serious of course.
Maybe Monday I will get my layouts posted!

Great Weekend!

Wow! What a great weekend! First, the Pack pulled it off on Saturday, beating Seattle 42-20! I was a little worried after their first 2 possessions of the game resulted in 2 fumbles and 2 touchdowns scored by the Seahawks!
Second, Sunday was Randy's 13th birthday, he is now officially a teenager! How did I become the mother of a teenager! Time really flies! He had a good day, our family was over and we definitely enjoyed some good time together!
Third, the Giants beat the Cowboys!!! I am so happy the Packers will be playing the Giants in Green Bay instead of the Cowboys in Dallas! I know, I know, the Giants have won 9 straight road games, but the Packers have won 9 (maybe 10 now) straight home games and Eli is due for a meltdown. It will be a tough game, I do believe that, but I am thinking this is the year of the Packers!!!!!

GO PACK GO !!!
I just had to pop on real quick and say that! Playoff game is tomorrow, against Seattle!

Bit the Bullet

Okay, one of my goals for the New Year was to start a blog! I have obviously figured out how to start one, but now comes the tough part, trying to get pictures loaded, etc. ! This is my goal for today, to get the few things I have created so far this year loaded to the blog!

Scrap your Stash
I have joined the "scrap your stash" thread on the cricut message board, I have put myself on a patterned paper shopping ban because I just have so much patterned paper, I need to use it up. I have decided that after I use up all or most of (more than half) 100 sheets of patterned paper, I will let myself by a few sheets. I have taken the challenge a step further on the following cards, though, I decided to scrap my scraps! I used nothing but scraps for my boys Christmas thank you cards, even the cards are made from scraps, which means they are an unusual size, and also open differently, Randy says they are "awkward" (his favorite word these days), but I kind of like them, they are simple for sure, but I'm especially please that I only used scraps!

I'm gonna punch your lights out!
I'm not sure why the pics are so big, and stick off the edge, but, I'm going to continue on, and hopefully I will get it figured out!
So, Clinton decided it would be great to get our nephews, Levi (4) and Cash (2) boxing gloves for Christmas! Well, we couldn't find real boxing gloves, but we did find these blow up "gloves". We had no idea they would be so much fun! All 5 of the kids took turns wearing the gloves and boxing each other. Levi was a bit rough with Cash, but Cash just kept popping back up for more! All the while, Cash kept saying "I'm gonna puch your lights out" in his little 2 year old speak, so cute! Brandon got a bit rough with Levi, and Levi didn't really like that too much! Randy thought it would be fun to box Uncle Ray,even though Clinton warned him not to! Well, Uncle Ray really did punch his lights out, poor Randy, I don't think he connected even once! They played for at least an hour, probably more.

Variation 1 - family bookvariation 2 - Randy's book
Variation 3 - Brandon's book

Word Book
This is my 4th word book. I had intended to make one for each of my daycare kids as well as our nephews and neice for Christmas, but I only got 3 done in time, and one of those ended up being for a friend! I do have most of the rest cut and bound (love my bind it all!) and I hope to get them finished here in the near future! So this one is obviously for Jake, I used my cricut expression to make it and my BIA to bind! I didn't do much embellishing, boys are hard that way for me!
