So, some of you know, that I have been really wanting this camera lens for quite awhile, and my husband, in an unusual moment of sweetness, bought it for me for my birthday! He picked it up last night and I am in love! I'm going to nickname her, "the beast" because it is HUGE and HEAVY!! LOL! what would an sane person want with a monster like this, some of you may wonder? Well, these lenses are also called "fast glass" and they are made specifically for capturing moving objects in low light! YES! Perfect for football and basketball! This lens had over 600 5star ratings on bhphotovideo.com and many people use it for wildlife & potraits as well as sports. so anyways, enough gushing! Here it is on my camera (canon 7D)

Well, there you have it! I hope to catch some amazing action shots with this baby! Randy has a basketball tournament Easter weekend, so I will get to test it out! I may need to start lifting some weights in the meantime! LOL!
