So, some of you know, that I have been really wanting this camera lens for quite awhile, and my husband, in an unusual moment of sweetness, bought it for me for my birthday! He picked it up last night and I am in love! I'm going to nickname her, "the beast" because it is HUGE and HEAVY!! LOL! what would an sane person want with a monster like this, some of you may wonder? Well, these lenses are also called "fast glass" and they are made specifically for capturing moving objects in low light! YES! Perfect for football and basketball! This lens had over 600 5star ratings on bhphotovideo.com and many people use it for wildlife & potraits as well as sports. so anyways, enough gushing! Here it is on my camera (canon 7D) side view

Week 12 & a Prom layout
Here is my week 12 layout. As with all of the rest, I used Capturing Day by Day by Isabelle Mendez and Everyday Moments by Lindsay Jane, both from gottapixel.net I would say that I definitely got my monies worth out of those 2 kits! Love that about digital, the ability to use an item as many times as you want to! I managed to get one single layout done of my prom pictures. This will be for the family book as Randy has informed me that digital scrapping is cheating, so I will try my best to do more traditional layouts for his. Still, digital is much quicker so he's just going to have to deal with some of it! LOL. I can't remember for sure, but I think I used the kit Some Summer Nights by Bella Gypsy from gottapixel.net Pretty simple, but for the pictures, I think it's just right!

P365 week 10
Doing a little better this week!
As in the other layouts, I used Capturing Day by Day by Isabelle Mendez and Everyday Moments by Lindsay Jane, both from gottapixel.net Basketball update: we won our first game of the state tournament by over 25 points and Randy got to play, he made a free throw. Unfortunately we lost the next 2 games, technically finishing 5th place in the state. Not what we went for, but still pretty amazing!

week 9 P365
I'm a few days late this week, but still managed to get my page done! woohoo!
I used Everyday Moments by Lindsay Jane & Capturing Day by Day by Isabelle Mendez, both from gottapixel.net
The fonts are free handwriting fonts I downloaded from kevinandamanda.com they have tons of awesome fonts! A couple of weeks ago, our boys basketball team won our district tournament. Randy is on the tournament team, though he gets very little playing time. Anyways, when they went to divisionals last week, I decided I needed to make some bus decorations, this is what I came up with. I used my cricut, Stand and Salute cartridge (for the star), SCAL (teamwork font and Prestina font) and some stickles! I really like the way the turned out! Oh! And our boys also won the divisional championship! WooHoo!!!

So, this week the boys move to the state tournament! I am so excited, happy and nervous for them! We haven't been to state in something like 49 years! These are the bus decorations I made this week! I used the cricut, SportsMania cartridge, SCAL (Prestina font), stickles and also old fashioned glitter by Martha Stewart. Stickles are really so much easier and neater to work with! I had black glitter everywhere!
I don't like these as well, but Randy thought they were awesome! I ran out of dark green, so had to do the cheerleaders a little different!
