Four cards, three layouts and an update!

I am not much of a card maker anymore, I used to be, it used to be all I did really, but since I got my cricut, I mostly put my stamps away and have pretty much become a scrapper, only. I just don't have the ideas for cars anymore for some reason! Anyways, there are a few birthdays coming up, and one way late that I needed to make some cards for. I bought the super cute Paisley cartridge right after Christmas, and really hadn't used it, I had peiced one little mushroom, but that was it, so I decided to use it to make these cards. Most of the paper was scraps, which makes it even better! Of course, I had to cut the cards from full pieces and when I started the white & blue pp was a full sheet, but I did manage to use most of it in doing these cards! Oh, and the background paper on 3 of the cards was also a full piece. The rest were scraps, mostly from my recent camping pages. it's really fun paper by SEI that I got at M's, it's called addison. I really like it. If you have followed my blog for awhile, you know that these colors are a little out of the norm for me as I mostly use really bright colors, but I do really like the way they turned out. Randy, who used to be my biggest supporter, is now my second biggest critic, he didn't like them that well. Tell me what you think!
I also used some skittles that I have had laying around forever, and a nestabilities die that I have had for months, the packages wasn't even open, and of course my paisley cartridge. I have now used 18 of my 46 cartridges on my quest to use them all!

I know, they are all very similar, but still a little bit different at the same time. Sorry the pics are so dark, I am really struggling in that department for some reason.

Here are three super quick layouts I did. I think these types of pictures are so hard to scrap! When I saw these 2 papers, I knew it was the only way to go!
This is for Randy's book: Brandon's book: He didn't shoot that deer, Clinton did, but Brandon was along so Clinton put him in the pictures!

Family book:
And finally, the update! Of course, Tuesdays are still my weigh in day, and as I have written on here, the past 2 weigh ins were pretty disappointing, to say the least. But, I was finally able to break my stall and this week I lost 1.8 pounds, I am 2 even pounds from my goal! Still hoping to get there by my birthday, which is just about a month away! I do hope to loose a few more pounds after that, but will be so thrilled when I hit that goal!
Well, thanks for looking, as always!

A few more layouts

I am absolutely loving all of these page protectors with the different slots! It makes scrapping a lot of pictures a snap! So, I would call this a 4 page layout, I guess. Left page, page protector, page prtoector, right page. Of course, they will all be in page protectors eventually, but I don't know how else to explain it! I used Plantin Schoolbook as well as Printing 101. Still going strong on my quest to use all of the cartridges!
This is for the family book:
Brandon's book, just one page:

Randy's book, another one pager:

This is for the family book: I used sportsmania

Clinton cut all my desk tops yesterday for my scraproom. I am so, so excited to have very usable work space now, especially for the desktop, which is where I edit all of my pictures, I had no room and it was so frustrating. The room itself, isn't quite done yet, but it is very usable at this point. I will try to post some pictures later this week, along with some more layouts that I have been working on!
Thanks for looking!

Still scrapping along!

I managed to get a couple of more pages complete over the weekend.
This is for Randy's book I used Sportsmania and Pooh font. It is what I am calling a 3-page layout. It's 2 full 12x12 pages and then a 6X12 in between the 2, the 6x12 is already in a page protector. I think that's going to be a fun way to fit in a few more pages. I also used my gypsy. It's starting to get where I can't scrap without it, it's just so quick! I do still like to look through the handbooks though, so much better than just looking on the screen.
I'm not really sure why I took these pictures, let alone printed them, but I decided just to scrap them, this is for the family book. I used Home Decor for the bird, and of course the gypsy.

And last but not least, another unhappy Tuesday weigh in. I was up .2 this week, which isn't really a big deal, but, I'm starting to get frustrated less than 4 pounds from goal. I'm not really sure what the cause is as I haven't really been doing anything differently, I will keep chugging along, though!
Thanks for looking!

some more layouts

Finished these layouts last night. Yes they are all pretty much the same except for the pictures. Those of you who have been around for awhile know that I often do 3 similar layouts of some things. I used the gypsy, When it's cold outside and alphalicious. The pictures aren't that great again, sorry about that.
Randy's: Family:
Brandon:

I also used paper scraps for the "strips" at the bottoms, love that I am going through the scraps instead of getting out new sheets!
Thanks for looking!

some more layouts (and a card)

I have kind of been on a roll lately with scrapping. Nothing very fancy for sure, in fact they are all pretty basic and boring, but I am still widdling down my pictures and getting pages finished, so I will take it!
This first one is blurry, sorry about that, but didn't feel like retaking it. This is our dog Willie, he just loves the snow, he runs and rolls and plays in it like crazy, especially if it isn't too cold. When his hair is too long, the snow gets all balled up and we have to spray him off in the shower to melt it or he picks at it until it's gone, and of course, that just makes a huge mess in the house. This is for our family book. I used the Gypsy and Speaking of Winter. This is also for the family book. We live fairly close to Yellowstone and last year after one of Randy's football games (it was literally just outside of Yellowstone), we decided to drive home through the park. We didn't really see too much, except these elk, just inside the entrance and the chipmunks which were at a rest area that wasn't really in the park. The elk were pretty cool, we new something was going on when we pulled into Mammoth because people were running everywhere, Clinton pulled into a parking spot just in time to see these huge antlers coming over the hill, (the elk in the first couple of pictures), he was on a mission, he ran right by our car, Randy's window was down and he probably could have reached out and touched him. Before it was over he nearly charged a van that wasn't paying attention! I used gypsy, Lyrical letters and Stretch your imagination.
This is for Randy's book, self explanitory. I used gypsy, Don Juan and Designer's Calendar

And finally the card. I actually used to be a major card maker. you cannot tell by this card! I was a stamper though, and that was very different. I recently purchased Sentimentals, and after I received it and really looked at the hand book, I was wondering what possessed me? It's not really my style at all! But, I linked it to the gypsy right away and so now, it is mine forever I guess. I decided to make a card to justify the purchase a little. I do not care for the card, but I mailed it out toClinton's grandma anyways, she has fallen twice in the past month. I used Sentimentals, gypsy and my cuttlebug.
And just because it isn't right to report only the losses, I guess I will tell you all that I maintained at my WI yesterday. I'm not 100% sure what happened, but I have a few ideas, besides I'm getting closer and it gets harder. I will hope I can fix it and have another loss next week.
Thanks for looking, hopefully I will have more layouts to post this week.

a new nephew and another layout!

Friday evening we were blessed with a new nephew. Yep, boys run in our family, Clinton has 4 brothers, we have 2 boys and one of his brothers now has 3 boys. We do have one girl, and another one on the way, but the boys still outnumber the girls! His name is Wade Clinton, and he is adorable, he looks just like his big brother Cash, who just happens to look just like his daddy!
Saturday I actually spent some time scrapping, since Clinton had to work. I didn't get much actually accomplished, but I did learn some new stuff on my Gypsy, which is fantastic. This layout was inspired by the new baby, obviously and I used the Gypsy, Design Studio, Accent Essentials, Storybook, Home Decor and my brand new Tie the Knot. It isn't pefect, but then again, nothing I do ever is, but I really do like it! Thanks for looking!

An actual layout!

I am so excited that I actually started and finished a layout that wasn't for a gift! although I have started and NOT finished many gifts in the past year! LOL!
This one was fairly simple, I used my gypsy with sportsmania to cut the background, though I didn't really need the gypsy, I was too lazy for dig out the cartridge! LOL! I also used SCAL for the title, I haven't used that in forever, still love it, though!
All in all, I really like the way it turned out, even if it is pretty simple!
Thanks for looking!

Still chugging along P365...

It seems to be just about the only thing I am getting done, but, I am getting it done! So here is for the last full week of January: Not very exciting, pretty much exactly the same as the others! Again, it's WI day, and I feel like I need to keep up on it! I lost 2.2 pounds! WOOHOO!!!!! I am less than 4 pounds from goal now!
